WHO I AM I am Charlotte Pert, an English photojournalist (and National Geographic Explorer) based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia since 2010. My work focuses on social reportage- with a focus on changing culture, social issues, and environmental journalism.
WHAT I DO Currently I am a freelance photojournalist, working on reportage stories, as well as travel, editorial, and NGO photography in the Asia region. As well as digital, I also shoot large format, and medium format film, including wet plate / tintype photography. I am working on long term projects involving changing indigenous culture, and marine conservation.
WHAT I DID Previously I worked as a staff photographer for the Phnom Penh Post from 2013 till 2015- where I was primarily involved on the Post Weekend edition, working on features and photo essays. My photos have also been featured in local and international publications such as The Daily Beast, The Guardian, Al Jazeera, Roads & Kingdoms, Narratively, and the Phnom Penh Post.
WHERE I AM I am currently based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and working on projects around the Asia Pacific region. I am available to work in South-East Asia and worldwide.
